Luxury Hostel In Costa Rica

Most importantly the beds are comfy and all the rooms have ceiling fans. Wilson is the hostel’s hero, if you need anything just holla at him, he’ll sort you out.
The swimming pool is famed for its pool parties and no doubt you’ll wanna get in on the action too. The dorms are clean, tidy, and pretty spacious.

It never gets overcrowded but equally there is always enough people around to keep the hostel vibe on point. Playa 506 is easily the best party hostel in Puerto Viejo. Playing the reggae music loud from dusk til dawn, hosting a happy hour every night and their own open mic evenings too the Playa 506 team know how to have a good time. With just the right amount of drinking culture teamed with laid-back beachy vibes, Playa 506 is one of the best hostels in Puerto Viejo. The team will help you max out on your time in Puerto Viejo.
2 Bungalows with private bathroom and terrace, with 3 berths or 4 berths, $25 for person. 2 Bungalows with private bathroom and terrace 1 king bed $68, 2 persons. Playa Guiones is a fun beach with consistent waves enjoyable to advanced and beginning surfers alike.

Long gone are the days when a hotel chain asking you to “Please hang up your towels” is considered eco-friendly. These days, it’s considered the absolute bare minimum, and travelers are making it clear that they need more. Hotels, hostels, and other vacation rentals have to work far harder for the stamp of approval from conscientious travelers.
It is completely renovated and extremely clean. The hotel itself is very nice and my husband and I actually stayed here twice. We liked it so much we booked three nights there around the holidays with our two friends.

Pick a place that is central to the sites and nightlife you want to see. All the hostels listed here are in good locations. The hotel address is del Edificio Municipal de Escazú 150mts, Antiguo Hotel Beacon. I spent 4 nights at Fauna and really enjoyed my time there.
It has an on-site bar with super cheap drinks plus a heated pool and a restaurant. There are also daily activities organized by the staff. The dorms are a little small, and the beds are basic metal bunks with no curtains but people come here for the pool and partying. You’ll find lots of common areas here too so there’s always a spot to chill out. In short, if you’re looking to meet lots of people and party, this is where you want to stay. This hostel doesn’t have a great social vibe, but the dorms are quiet and clean.
A short stroll down the hill, the main hotel complex offers a plethora of things to do, so even on a long stay you won’t want for diversions. There’s a choice of beaches, and pools that look like tropical oases , plus three restaurants. For a further option, head to reception – a soaring, nature-inspired atrium – and hop in a buggy. A short drive away lies Caracol, an American-style grill with majestic views of the Arnold Palmer-designed golf course.
Fairly generic city with tons of traffic and hard to get around. Smaller towns in Costa Rica are much more enjoyable. Asuncion, Escazu, and Barrio Escalante are popular with other travelers visiting San José. It was great, beautiful place outside of city and noise. It is the third time I stay there, and everything went perfect. Located in San José, a 6-minute walk from National Stadium of Costa Rica, Hotel Columbus provides accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.
